It appears Rebel News journalist Avi Yemini was removed from Parliament House by Police in Victoria at Daniel Andrews’ request when he attended a government press conference.
The journalist had the correct credentials and upon showing them at the gate, was allowed through into the area where other mainstream media had already gathered. However, as the journalist’s video shows, the Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews’ assistant called protective services officers and the Victoria Police to have the journalist removed because they did not know what questions he would ask.
This is a direct attack on the freedom of the press in this country by both the Andrews Government and Victoria Police.
This should not be happening in Australia.
