Local MRNA vaccine manufacturing in Australia on the horizon.
The Victorian Government commits $50 million dollars to start the process of establishing onshore MRNA manufacturing in Australia. Along with the Federal Government the entire focus has shifted to MRNA vaccines as the future.
It would appear this was all predicated on the failures of the vaccine roll-out at both Federal and State level, particularly around the AZ vaccine.
