According to multiple news outlets, UK PM Borris Johnson is set to scrap vaccine passport requirements come winter due to poor polling and community pressure.
The UK will instead focus on a booster shot regime.
With a high percentage of the population double dosed there has been 1054 vaccinated deaths and 536 unvaccinated deaths (between Feb 1st to Aug 29th 2021).
Vaccination passports are being viewed as a redundant measure in light of ongoing community transmission. New research also suggests that domestic vaccine passports increases hesitancy and distrust of governments.
