Victoria Police Targets Independent Journalists at Home

Victoria Police came to my home in the dead of night and served a letter to me from Assistant Commissioner Luke Cornelius. I was out walking the dog, so my wife had responded to the doorbell and received the letter.

I’m an independent journalist and content creator, and have been reporting on events in Melbourne over the past year. I’m disgusted that hired goons from Victoria Police would come to visit the home of an independent journalist to stop them from doing their job.

I will not be silenced or intimidated from doing my work as a reporter in my community by the police or government, especially when that work is about holding them accountable.
